Yes. Indeed sweet. And the fact that I arrived here from BoingBoing makes it even sweeter.

Cool. Except for the Madonna one, that sucks.

Great stuff! Found via boingboing.

Thanks all! And I really do agree with Mark F at BB about the title sequences being the favorite parts of the bond flicks. Nowadays I can surely do without the rest. I guess I'm getting old ;-)

After seeing Casino Royale earlier this weekend I thought to myself, "Wouldn't it be great to make a video of all the Bond title sequences?" Lo and behold, someone was in my brain at the time.

Are the videos no longer available?

Martin Klasch said...

deez: Yes they are available! Try again if you had a problem!

The Casino Royale one appears to have been removed.

And it appears Never Say Never Again isn't there, though since it's not really an Ian Fleming Bond film, I can understand its exclusion...

Jag fastnade skitlänge framför den här posten.

Martin Klasch said...

Anonymous: You are right...

Johnny: Ja, det här var tydligen tidernas succé inlägg. Du anar inte (det kanske du gör) hur många besökare jag haft igår och idag ;-)

How nice to have all of these collected under one source. In a some what related matter, did you know that Richard Branson had a cameo of sorts in Casino Royale?

Tak!

Thanks for the link and info, Marty! Good eye for details!

Var så god!

Hi, my name is Stefano and I'm a bolgger too.
I've seen your blog via "designerblog", an intereseting italian blog. I'm posting this comment to ask u how can I insert a youtube video inside my blog. And of course to tell u I apriciate your blog.
thanx

Stefano: Thanks for your praise, I'm glad you like it! :-)
About inserting YouTube into posts: In YouTube, to the right of every film there is a code, "embed" it says. Copy the code. Go to "Edit post" in Blogger and use, not "compose mode", but "Edit HTML". Paste the code. Publish. And there you go! Good luck with the posting!

Hey there,

a cool idea, however seems like Youtube decided that showing "Casino Royale" was copyright infringement and removed the video. What a pain in the butt! I sure hope that they don't take out any other clip.

Let's hope so, Anonymous "S".

Pardon my uh...Bond noobishness, but I've been watching some bond movies, and I don't recall there being that rich a color.
never saw the beginning intro's tho.

Dr.No is the FIRST bond movie right?

so why is there color?
weird.

Martin Klasch said...

Luzzio: I don't understand. Do you mean "Dr No" should be in b/w?! Or just less colourful? It's not a strange thought that the titles would have more colours, I think.

Yano Solong: Reality Architect said...

Dr. No was always in color...the intro is authentic. I would assume it was transferred off the DVD, because the color is richer than on TBS or VHS.

Looking for excellent sites or books on Movie Title sequencing. Know Saul Bass is the founder. Have opurtunity to work with Team on one. Always loved title sequencing...my passion part for watching movies.
Can you suggest any.

Martin Klasch said...

Shelley: I wish I had some suggestions, but I'm afraid I don't. But there must be some good ones out there (or...?). Keep looking!

Complete playlist with all James Bond opening title sequences

Martin Klasch said...

Thanks!!!

Anonymous said...

You're welcome.
The playlist doesn't include all Bond title sequences, only the ones with the gunbarrels, so you won't find either Casino royale (1967) or Never say never again.
